That's after the Wylie varsity girls cross country team claimed a second place finish at the Abilene Invitational last Saturday at Zoe Park in Abilene. The second place finish comes off the heels of a championship run at the Godley Invitational last week.

Individually, Marisa Dudley came in fourth place while sister Amari Dudley was right behind in fifth place.

On the boys side, tucker Balliew claimed a top 10 finish as he finished in eighth.

The cross country teams run again this Thursday at the Phyllis Pappas Pacer in Wichita Falls.
