The Wylie swim teams kept up their great 2025-2026 season as both teams placed sixth out of 18 different teams at the Arlington Invite. The prestigious meet featured the top teams from the Dallas/Fort Worth area and West Texas including state-ranked Lubbock High and Klein.
WHS had two podium finishes with Diego Duarte in the 200 IM and Maria Brigino in the 100 Breaststroke.
"Our team performed at a high level against some very tough schools over the weekend," said WHS swim coach Casey Pacheco. "All of our "A" relays finished in the top 8 for each event.
The Bulldogs' next meet will be in San Angelo for the San Angelo Invitational held on October 31 and November 1. This will be the first meet of the year featuring both preliminaries and finals.
