The Bulldog boys golf team opened its fall schedule with a sixth-place finish last weekend at the two-day Lubbock Invitational Tournament.
After the team shot an opening round score of 318 at Texas Tech’s Rawls Course, WHS followed with a 317 on Saturday at Shadow Hills Golf Course.
Individually, sophomore Jaxon Potter finished in ninth place with a two-day score of 152. He and Bulldog sophomore teammate Casen James carded the lowest rounds for the team – Potter a 75 on Friday and James a 75 on Saturday.
