The Wylie girls soccer team picked up an impressive win on Tuesday night on the road, beating Granbury 2-1.
Brylee Ross scored the first goal for the Lady Bulldogs with an assist from teammate Kaylee Richardson. Allie Allen scored the game-winning goal for WHS. Maci Hanson picked up an assist on the play. Goalkeeper Avery Anders added eight saves on the night for Wylie as well.
WHS is 2-1-2 on the early season and play in the United Invitational Tournament this weekend in Wichita Falls.
It was a tough night for the Wylie boys Tuesday as they fell to San Angelo Lake View 2-0. The Bulldogs are currently 3-3-1 on the year. The early season has included impressive victories over Borger (3-2), Dumas (10-0) and Mansfield Summit (1-0) along with a tie versus Aledo (1-1).
The guys will be in Alvarado this weekend for a tournament with three games scheduled versus Lake View, Fort Worth Poly and Decatur.
