Isaiah Carrillo scored a team-high 18 points, Martin Marshall poured in another 15, and Derrick Evans added 12 as the Bulldog basketball team pulled out a big road win Saturday versus Coronado, 61-47.
After a tight first two quarters that saw the Bulldogs leading 30-29 at the halftime break, WHS outscored the Mustangs 31-18 in the second half to seal the win.
The win keeps WHS in the fight for the playoffs with two games to play.
Both Bulldog basketball programs will celebrate Senior Night this Tuesday, February 7 when they host Lubbock Cooper. The girls tip at 6:00 p.m. followed by the guys at 7:30.
