Just a week after going undefeated and winning the Godley Tournament, the Wylie softball team stayed hot against quality metroplex competition by winning four more games in the Mansfield Tournament February 23-25.
The Bulldogs opened the tournament with a 2-1 victory over Ennis and then followed by winning their last three games of the weekend, 3-1 versus Boswell, a 9-0 shutout over Grand Prairie and a 4-2 win in the tourney finale against Trinity.
Halli Russell, Reese Farrar and Rylee Moore were all victorious in the pitching circle for WHS. Offensively, Hanna Hood, Mycala Reed Kat Martinez, Jadyn Fernandez and Cameron Gregory all had great tournament weekends at the plate.
Wylie is now 12-2 on the season. They return to the diamond on Tuesday, February 28 at Odessa High.
