The Wylie Lady Bulldog soccer team stayed hot after collecting another impressive win against Lubbock Monterey, 1-0 Friday night at Hugh Sandifer Stadium.
Allie Allen scored the lone goal for the Bulldogs thanks to an assist from Sarah Williams. That goal combined with strong play form the defensive backline and goalkeeper Avery Anders sealed another shutout victory on the home turf.
WHS now holds a record of 5-2-2 in District 4-5A play and sits in third place. The team is back at it on Tuesday night when the team travels to Lubbock High. The varsity match begins at 5:00 p.m.
