The Wylie boys soccer team protected the home turf in impressive fashion with a 4-0 shutout of Lubbock High Tuesday night at Sandifer Stadium.
The offense was clicking early and often as four Bulldogs scored goals on the night - Caden Sauley, Alen Canales, Nobel Ngramsit, Liam Cisneros. Assists came from Sawyer Thompson, Ethan Carnes, Caden Garza, Alen Canales
The defensive backline and goalkeeper Sawyer Thompson were tough all night in preserving the shutout.
WHS is now 12-10-1 on the year and 7-5-0 in District 4-5A. The Bulldogs host Coronado this Friday, March 10. The match begins at 5:00 p.m.
