The Wylie boys golf team fought hard to a third place finish at the District 4-5A golf tournament that wrapped up Monday at the Rawls Course in Lubbock. Their two-round team total of 645 placed them behind district champion Lubbock Coronado and runner-up Lubbock Cooper.
Individually, WHS's Casen James finished with a score of 154 (73-81) and teammate Jack Cole a 161 (79-82) to earn both players all-district recognition.
