The Wylie softball bats exploded for six runs in the fourth inning and then added four more of insurance in the seventh to cruise to a 11-3 win at Coronado Tuesday night in Lubbock.
Kynslee George paced the Lady Bulldogs with two hits and four runs batted in. Teammates Mycala Reed and Cameron Gregory also added two hits on a night when WHS racked up 12 hits as a team.
Reese Farrar was business as usual in the pitching circle Tuesday, pitching a complete game with seven strikeouts.
The Lady Bulldogs are now 25-6 overall and 9-2 in District 4-5A, one game behind Monterey with one district game remaining. WHS finishes out the regular season with Senior Night this Friday, April 21 hosting Lubbock Cooper. The varsity is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
