Five Bulldogs pounded out multiple-hit game, and Brady Clark added a home run as well as another solid pitching performance as Wylie beat southtown rival Abilene Cooper 9-4 Tuesday night at Bulldog Stadium.

A four-run second inning followed by a three-run third gave the Bulldogs the cushion they needed to cruise to victory. Reese Borho, Hays Sipe, Tye Briscoe, Collin Bruning and Braden Regala all ended the night with two hits apiece as the Bulldogs finished with 13 knocks.

Clark, Paden Johnson and Carter Beard combined to quiet the Cooper bats to a total of four hits.

The win keeps Wylie right in the middle of a highly contested District 4-5A race at 9-5 with four games to play. WHS travels to Monterey on Friday, April 21. First pitch is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
