After an stout non-district schedule that tested the Wylie team tennis team against the best programs in the state, the Bulldogs were primed and ready for their district opener versus Wichita Falls Legacy on Saturday, winning the match 17-2 at the new WHS tennis complex.

The wins marks the ninth match in a row that the Bulldogs have now won. The team is currently ranked number seven in the Texas Tennis Coaches Association state rankings.

WHS is back on the home courts on Saturday, September 14 for a non-district match versus Midland Legacy. The match is scheduled to begin at 10:30 am. They return to District 4-5A play on Tuesday, September 17 vs Abilene Cooper.
