The Wylie track teams are peaking at the right time this spring, just in time for the district championships. They tuned up with a boys and girls sweep of the championships at the Col Mobley Optimist Relays last Thursday in Stephenville.
The girls won two events that helped capture the team title with 122.6 points. The boys came home with seven event wins to claim first place with 139 points.
Both teams are back on the track this Wednesday and Thursday, April 2-3, in the District 4-5A championships here at WHS’s Hugh Sandifer Stadium.
