The Wylie baseball team made good use of their spring break by dominating their District 4-5A schedule with three wins in three days on the diamond.

WHS scored double-digit runs in all three games and combined it with quality pitching to sweep the week. After beating Lubbock Cooper 10-6 at home on Thursday, the Bulldogs went on the road Friday and beat Coronado 11-6 before returning home Saturday and beating Lubbock High in a five-inning run-rule contest, 11-0.

Tye Briscoe, Brady Clark and Sam Walker earned pitching victories during the sweep while Reese Borho led the offense with seven hits including a home run.

Wylie is now 11-5-1 on the season and currently in first place in District 4-5A at 5-1. They return to the diamond on Friday, March 24 hosting Abilene High. First pitch is set for 7:00 p.m.
