Congratulations to the six Wylie tennis players who qualified and played in the UIL Class 5A State Tennis Tournament Tuesday and Wednesday in San Antonio.
The WHS mixed doubles team of Stealey Crousen and Trevor Short made it to the state championship match on Wednesday, falling to a team from College Station in three sets, 6-4, 3-6, 4-6.
Also competing for the Bulldogs were the mixed doubles team of Carly Bontke and Marshall McPherson as well as the boys doubles team of Grant Bristow and Conner Brown.
