Congrats to the Wylie volleyball team who won five matches in two days and made it to the championship game of the Bev Ball Classic last weekend in Abilene.
After finishing 2-1 in pool play on Friday, WHS put together a string of three straight victories over Krum, Lubbock Monterey and Midland High to get to the title match, narrowly falling to El Paso Eastwood in three games 25-22, 20-25, 18-25.
The Lady Bulldogs are now 5-4 on the young season. They return to the court this Tuesday, August 20 at Midland Legacy before traveling to the Granbury Tournament scheduled for Thursday through Saturday.
